He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harrison Keene and Maude Altizer Keene; his siblings, Margaret Pruitt, Doris Flanner, Shirley Flanner, Earl Keene and Harry Keene; and his grandson William Keene.
He is survived by: his wife Maggie Duncan Keene of Tazewell, VA; and his children, William Harrison Keene of Tazewell, VA, Sharon Morehead (Bill) of Tazewell, VA, Tammy Kinder (Frank) of Mr and Barbara Mitchell (Joe) of Cedar Bluff, VA.. He is also survived by Thirteen grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home (232 Ben Bolt Ave, Tazewell, VA 24651). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
