He was predeceased by : his parents, James E and Mary S Hughes; and his siblings, Susan Adair Powell, James Patrick Hughes and David Lee Hughes.

He is survived by : his wife Tammy Hughes; and his son James Hughes (Ashley). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Michaels Care Fund on his memorial page.
