We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2025, at the age of 99, Nora Vada Kidd of Tazewell, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Randall Grason Stowers and Nora Marie Bourne Stowers; her former husband Claude Calvin Shawver; her husband Simon Kidd; and her sister Jessie Marie Nunley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda French of Tazewell, VA and Denise French of Tazewell, VA; her grandchildren, William Lambert, Alicia Harman, Leigh Lambert, Ashleigh French and Hunter French; and her stepgrandson Jason Mosley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home (232 Ben Bolt Ave, Tazewell, VA 24651). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
