She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Karnes of Jonesborough, TN, Todd Karnes of Tazewell, VA and Sheila Karnes of Tazewell, VA; her sister Christine McClanahan Pruitt (Robert) of North Tazewell, VA; her grandchildren, Skyylor Boyd Karnes, Treyton Quincy Karnes, Haley Karnes, Anthony Karnes and Virginia Diane Karnes; her great grandchildren, Bradley Counts and Makayla Stiltner; and her sister-in-law Mildred McClanahan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home (232 Ben Bolt Ave, Tazewell, VA 24651). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
