She was predeceased by: her parents, John Burton Jones and Elsie Mildred Quillen Jones; her husband William "Bill" Birch; her daughter Jennifer Lynn Johnson; her siblings, Ralph Jones, Elizabeth Clouser, Ruth Godwin and Arthur Jones; and her son-in-law Jimmy Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Faith Ann Lewis of Temperanceville and John William Birch Sr.; her grandchildren, Michael J. Johnson Jr. (Sherry) of Accomac, VA, Jason S. Johnson (Beth) of Melfa, VA and Amy Sawyer (Stephen) of Painter, VA.; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Riley Johnson, Dominic Sawyer, Christian Sawyer, Sahara Sawyer and Hailey Lewis.
