He is survived by: his cousin Robin Whitside Sams.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakey's Vinton Chapel (627 Hardy Rd, Vinton, VA 24179). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1401 Mountain View Rd, Vinton, VA 24179).
