He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thompson and Mary Scudder Thompson; and his wife Elizabeth Dorothy Morrison Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Robert Harold Thompson, Jr. (Joyce), William Rawdon Thompson (Sue), David Gaunt Thompson (Pamela), Cynthia Elizabeth Bartholomew (Nicholas), Linda D. Thompson-Tressler (Romy) and Colleen Goodman Thompson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren.
