She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Washington and Marjorie Blanche George Brown; her former husband Robert "Bob" Newton Greathead, III; and her husband Harry Neff Deavers. She is survived by: her children, Jane Campbell of Timberville, Robert N. Greathead, IV (Liane) of Harrisonburg and Christopher A. Greathead (Gloria) of Fulks Run; her grandchildren, John Edward Campbell, III, Andrew Taylor Campbell (Megan), Charlene Jeffers, Jolie Greathead, Connor Ryan Cleaver, Joey Matthew Cleaver, Christopher Greathead, Jr., Joshua Alexander Greathead and Nora Ileen Greathead; and her great grandchildren, Anna Mae Campbell, Jack, Jase and Abby Jeffers.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Church of the Brethren (17988 N Mountain Rd, Timberville, VA 22853).
