It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darlene Mitchell of Timberville, Virginia, born in Mathias, West Virginia, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Loy Moyer and Delma Cullers Moyer; her former life partner Cletus Hupp; her brother Jim; and her sister-in-law Ellen Moyer.

She is survived by : her children, Pam O'Roark of Bergton, Sheila Hupp of Bergton and Kent Hupp of Broadway; and her brother Frank Moyer of Bergton. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
