She was predeceased by: her father Phillip Forbes Gibson; and her brother Mark Hollingsworth. She is survived by: her mother Sheila Ann Mitchell Gibson of Thomasville, GA; her son William Scott Cody (Michelle) of Keezletown; her grandchildren, Kendra Faith Cody of Broadway and Kyle Scott Cody (Ray Harlon Coffey, Jr.) of Keezletown; and her siblings, Rick Hollingsworth (Alicia) of Spring, TX, Kevin Hollingsworth (Unhui) of Williamsburg, VA, Terri McCord (Millard) of Havana, FL and Tammy Gibson of Monroe, GA..
