It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Andrew Baker Sr. of Timberville, Virginia, born in Shenandoah, Virginia, who passed away on May 9, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Charles L. Baker; his wife Elizabeth Catherine Miller; his son Elmer A. Baker, Jr.; his stepchildren, Thomas L. Armentrout, Jr. and Sandy Turner; and his siblings, Audrey Lonas, Ruby Barb and Charles L. Baker, Jr..

He is survived by : his children, Rose Harper (Ed) of Timberville, Robert Baker, Sr. (Patty) of Mt. Jackson and Deborah Parker (Vernon) of Mathias, WV; his stepchildren, Gary W. Armentrout, Ronnie Lee Armentrout, Terry R. Armentrout, Diana Mook, Dorothy Dove, Betty Dinges and Brenda Saenz; and his brother Stanley Baker of Harrisonburg. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
