He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Bowman and Velma Hiser Bowman; and his wife Sandra Kay Sager. He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Lynn Richardi of Harrisonburg; his siblings, Billy Bowman, Debra Hunnicutt (Tommy) and Virginia B. Prouty; and his siblings-in-law, William Sager and Syvilla Ann Breeden. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
