With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Frances Crider of Timberville, Virginia, born in Moorefield, West Virginia, who passed away on April 5, 2024 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene Frances Crider to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Clarence and Fannie Helmick Shoemaker; her husband Floyd Leon Crider; her siblings, Ralph Helmick and Janet Harlow; and her son-in-law Rick Stone of Timberville.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Crider (Tynia) of Linville, Angela Stone of Fleming Island, FL, Jeremy Crider (Wendy) of Quicksburg, Jason Crider (Tanya) of Broadway, Amanda Wilkes and Irenes; and her sisters, Sylvia Scott (Jake) of Woodstock and Wilda Dove of Edinburg. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grandle Funeral Home, Inc. (148 E Lee St, Broadway, VA 22815). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Whitmer Family Cemetery.
