He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Claude and Evelyn Arlene Dove Mitchell; and his wife Darlene Moyer Hupp Mitchell. He is survived by: his siblings, James Mitchell (Gay), Joan Ritchie, Nancy Harlow (Charles) and Tammy Morrisey (Jim); and his children, Jesse C. Mitchell, Roger A. Mitchell Sr., Barry Mitchell, Kent Hupp, Pam O'Roark (Rick) and Sheila Hupp (Malcolm). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
