She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Fitzwater Hensley and Wallace; her husband Allen Lee May; her sisters, Kathy Good, Sue Dovel and Theresa Johnson; and her great grandchild Ella Louise Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Sara May of Timberville, Tara Shafer (James) of Singers Glen, Allison May of Stuarts Draft and Charlie Wright (Sabina) of Port Republic; her sister Linda Cunningham; and her grandchildren, James, Anthony, Aaron, Samantha, Kirsten, Rowdy, Kristian, Pierce and Gavin. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
