He was predeceased by : his parents, Emmert Hoover and Audrey Ritenour Hoover; his sisters, Rachel Burner and Peggy Hamilton; and his pet Callie.
He is survived by : his children, Patrick S. Hoover (Katherine) of New Market, Holly Beth Hatcher (Michael) of Timberville and Dixie Leigh Barnes (Paul) of Stephenson; and his grandchildren, Dane Hatcher, Spencer Hatcher, Connor Hatcher, Austin Barnes, Alex Barnes and Ashleigh Barnes.
