He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Barkley and Kathrine "Mae" Barkley; and his wife Darla Elaine Hess. He is survived by: his daughters, Sara Herndon (Chad) of Mechanicsville and Krista Palacios (Edson) of Kansas City, MO; his brothers, Richard, Gary (Misty) and Darrin (Candy); and his grandchildren, Sophie Herndon, Cammie Herndon, Josiah Palacios, Judah Palacios and Silas Herndon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
