We are sad to announce that, on March 24, 2025, at the age of 82, Douglas MacArthur Morning Sr. (Toano, Virginia), born in Williamsburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Morning; and his siblings, Simon Morning Jr., Emma Ashby and Mary Wallace. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Lamont Morning Jr., Barbara Elaine Morning, Ryan Christopher Morning and MacArthur Douglas Morning; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Williams (Ryan Williams), Ryan C. Morning Jr., Sterling Johnson Sr. and Angenia Morning. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to CBC Ministries, 2900 Chickahominy Rd., Toano, VA 23168, in honor of Douglas Morning's memory.
