She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Thompson and Waverly Richard Jr. of Charles City, Virginia.. She is survived by: her significant other Reggie L. Berkley; her children, Deitra Garrett, Anthony Richard, Dana Derr (Omar), Regina Townes (Nekoda), Reginald Berkley (Breanna), Angela Weddington (Blakely), Virginia Berkley, Ebed Berkley, James Berkley, Joseph Berkley, Andrew Berkley and Omega Berkley; her grandchildren, Zoe, Amirah, Jessie, Mathias Weddington, Korsche, Elijah Derr, Timara, Raiya, Nekoda Jr. Townes, Nehemiah and Aubree Berkley; her siblings, Lucia Frazier (Henry), Sandra Richard, Ronnie Thompson and Keith Thompson (Michelle); her close friend Wateina Hatchett; and her grandchildren, Melina and Cianey Braxton.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. John Baptist Church (2588 Forge Rd, Toano, VA 23168).
