She was predeceased by : her parents, Forrest Hamman and Eva McClanahan Hamman; her husband Carroll G. Bowers Sr.; and her brother Franklin Hamman. She is survived by : her children, Carolyn Miller (Jake) of Mt. Jackson, Carroll G. Bowers Jr. of Toms Brook, Doris Tevault of Mt. Jackson, William Bowers (Tammy) of Ohio and Janet Miller (Kim) of Mt. Jackson; and her sisters, Goldie Andrews of New Market and Shirley Zirkle of Timberville. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
