He was predeceased by: his son David W. Taylor; and his wife Hilda "Butch" Colley Taylor. He is survived by: his children, Michael A. Taylor (Jackie) and Wanda T. Lewter (Richard); his daughter-in-law Etta M. Taylor; his grandchildren, Brittany T. Glenn (William), Justin M. Taylor (Hannelore), Chelsea L. Hunt (Allen), Shelby L. Purcell (John) and Lillian M. Taylor; his great grandchildren, William Earl Glenn, Skylar E. Hunt, Lofton R. Hunt and Emily Charlotte Taylor; his sisters, Dorothy T. Ashley and Ann T. Major (Mercer); and his sister-in-law Clara "Sissy" Martin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
