She was predeceased by: her mother Catherine Kidd Lockley; her birth father Alvin Thornton; her father Esau Kidd; and her stepfather Percy Lockley Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Eric L. Benjamin; her children, Eric Benjamin Jr., Sarina Bagby (Benjamin) of Locust Hill, VA, Elaine McLaurin (Tony) of Chesterfield, VA, Marcello Forehand of Richmond, VA and Marcia Forehand of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Lorenzo Glade, Latressa Bagby, Jazmyn Blowe, Brianna Bagby, Kamarin McLaurin, Roderick Blowe, Desiree Bagby, Manny McLaurin, Alexander Glade, Joshua McLaurin, Tatiyana Forehand and Leon Benjamin Zintgraf; her great grandchildren, Brayden Blowe, Aden and Cayden; her siblings, Rena Morris, Leslie Kidd, Jonathan Thornton and Gregory Thornton; her stepsiblings, Nadine Sheppard (Mac), Percy Lockley Jr. (Shirley) and Pricilla Johnson (Andy); Esau Kidd. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to William Deagle Ministries, which meant a lot to her.
