It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie V. Walker Woodland (Triangle, Virginia), who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sr. Walker and Martha Walker; and her siblings, Cynthia Johnson, Hazel Miller, Bettie Ingram, Jacquelyn Walker, James Walker, Jr., Paul Walker and Mark Walker, Sr..
She is survived by: her sisters, Melinda Hill (Errol) and Helen Pearson (John); and her godchildren, Natasha McGhee (Chante), Carmen Ingram-Thorpe, Krishna Ingram, Ashely Miller, Raven Collic, John Pearson, Jr. (Hind) and Travis Hill. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and sorority sisters.
