He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Wedel and Jane Wedel (Billard); and his sister Priscilla Wedel. He is survived by: his significant other Patricia "April" Wedel; his stepdaughter Edie Lane (JD); his stepgrandchildren, Ethan and Madeline; his stepson Robert McCathran (Leilani); his stepgrandchildren, Shannah and Kahless; his niece Jennifer Sharp DiCostanzo (Richard); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan and Olivia.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
