He was predeceased by: his parents, Erika and Kenneth B. Hale; and his grandfather Herman. He is survived by: his significant other Catherine Applegate Mastrippolito; his brother Tex; his grandchildren, Kristina and Kenny; his children, Thomas G. Hale Jr. (Donna), John K. Hale (Karen), Dan Gross (Becki), Fred Mastrippolito (Nartaya) and Brenda Tiffin (Scott); his sister Judith Jeltema (Gordon); his grandchildren, Scott Jr. (Katrina), Andrew, Cody (Carrigan), Skyler, Charlie, Savannah, Shelby, Shane and Catherine; his great grandchild Wheeler; Lucille.
