He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald McCaul and Kathleen McCaul of Roanoke, VA.. He is survived by: his wife Amanda McCaul; his daughters, Emily Taylor (Samuel) of Asheville, NC and Allison McCaul of Nashville, TN; his siblings, Patricia Copeland of Cortlandt Manor, NY, Eileen McCaul of Roanoke, VA, Colm McCaul of Yadkinville, NC, Finula McCaul of Pittsburgh, PA and Aideen Tenzer (Stephen) of Malvern, PA; his pet Ruby; and also Hughie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Movember, a campaign focused on raising awareness and conducting research for men's mental health, Roanoke Area Ministries, the local SPCA, or to Angels of Assisi.
