He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey James Bailey, Jr. and Nancy Casey Bailey; and his stepmother Patty Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Stetson; his stepchildren, Matthew Sweeney (Madeline) and Meredith Craven (Brian); his grandchildren, Ruby, Park and Lillian; his brothers, Richard Bailey (Kelly), Michael Bailey (Sally), Dewey Bailey (Susan), Hal Bailey (Cindy) and Bobby Bailey; and his siblings' children, Kyle, Marshall, Anne, Paige, Tyler, Carrington, Lizzie, Julia, Hal, Jack, Emma and Sophie.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Open House (3564 Catawba Rd, Troutville, VA 24175).
If you would like to make a donation in honor of Steve, his favorite charities were St. Jude's Children Hospital, Tunnels2Towers, and Angels of Assisi in Roanoke.
