He was predeceased by: his father Cole E. Digges Jr.; his son Cole Digges IV (Eddie); and his wife Margaret Digges (Haislip). He is survived by: his son Duane Digges (Sherrie) of Palmyra, Virginia; his daughter-in-law Cindy of Gordonsville; his granddaughters, Lauren Belew (Derek) of Gordonsville, Cari Squire (Kellen) of Barboursville and Ashley of Troy, Virginia; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Austin, Henley, Mason, Sutton, Sawyer, Andrew and Connor.
