He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Lawhorne and Violet Lawhorne; his son Robert W. Lawhorne Jr.; and his brothers, George and James Lawhorne (Pete).
He is survived by: his wife Alice of Troy, Virginia; his sons, Lawrence Lawhorne of Stuarts Draft and Michael Lawhorne of Madison; his stepchildren, Mark Page (Rhonda) of Louisa and Robin Abbott (Bryan) of Barhamsville; his grandchildren, Travis, Chase, Kaylee, Zachary, Lauren and Katelyn; and his sister-in-law Judy Patterson of Knoxville, Tennessee.. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
