She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Boutchyard, and Hansford Boutchyard, Sr.; her husband George Walter Heflin; and her son David Scott Heflin. She is survived by: her daughter Valerie Heflin (Frank Smalara); her grandchildren, Matthew Boteilho (Sarah), Andrea Boteilho, Samantha Reynolds (Richard Deaner) and Natalie Heflin; her daughter-in-law Diana Heflin; and her siblings, Alice Allen and Hansford Boutchyard, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
