He is survived by: his wife Gaynell Cox (Fletcher); his son Scottie Wayne Cox (Tonya); his granddaughter Alexis Scarberry (Tyler Scarberry) of Meadowview, VA; his siblings, Jimmy Cox (Susan) and Evelyn Cook (Ronald Cook) of Belfast, VA; and his niece Monica Burress (Ricky Burress) of Pounding Mill, VA..
