He was predeceased by: his parent Tivis Edward Cox; and his siblings, Tammy Jean Yates (Cox), Ralph Edward Cox and Jeff Cox. He is survived by: his mother Sandra Sue Cox (Winchester) of Vansant, VA; his sisters, Rita Gail Cox of Vansant, VA and Deborah Ann Cox of Vansant, VA; his niece Amanda Renea Cox; and his close friend Tootie.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grundy Funeral Home (22208 Riverside Dr, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
