He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Acre Ferrell and Frances "Elizabeth" Landrum Ferrell; and his close friend John Blair (Kerns). He is survived by: his pet Buddy; his wife Bonnie Joy Turner Ferrell; his children, Elizabeth "Ann" Tingen (Brent) of Vernon Hill and Michael Wayne Ferrell (Raven) of Vernon Hill; his grandchildren, Brandon Wayne Tingen, Samantha Brooke Ferrell, Maddie Lee Tingen and Jacob Michael Ferrell; his brother Edwin Dean Ferrell (Julie) of Roanoke; and his sibling's children, Cassie "BooBoo" Lanette Ferrell Faircloth (Ricky), Summer Ferrell Honeycutt (Larry), Randi Ferrell Warner (Brian), Jennie Ferrell Kimmer (Dee) and Cody Ferrell.
