Buddy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Buddy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Louise Sipe Bowen; his wife Linda Louise Fitzgerald Bowen; and his sisters, Nellie Virginia Bowen Woods, Ellie Mae Bowen Helmick and Doris Anne Bowen.
He is survived by: his children, Matthew Wayne Bowen, Melany Marie and Marsha Lynne Bowen; and his brother Hank William Bowen. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401).
