He is survived by: his wife Alexandria Ann Washington Nelson; his children, Michael Lee Nelson, Sharvonne Nelson Mobley (James), Ceceila Ineze Nelson and Cayla Nelson Bowden; his grandchildren, Aysia, Jaylen, Alaya, Liam, Landon, Londynn and Kayson; his great grandchildren, Saiori and Salem; his siblings, Brian Edwin Nelson (Jennifer) and Veronica Michelle Nelson; and his aunts and uncles, Vanessa, Jacqueline Childress, Coleman Childress, James and Samuel Nelson. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, and many cousins and friends.
