He was predeceased by: his parents, George Johnson and Rachel Johnson (Tyree) of Waynesboro, Virginia.; and his brothers, George Johnson Jr. and Anthony Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Susan Swink Johnson; his daughter Kimberly Hensley (Scott); his sister Alice Fisher; his granddaughter Samantha Hensley; and his friend Curley Montgomery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the McDow Funeral Home (1701 W Main St, Waynesboro, VA 22980). A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Augusta Memorial Park (1775 Old Goose Crk Rd, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
