She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Orville Gilbert and Helen Hoffman Tilton Gilbert. She is survived by: her husband Charles Edgar Palmer, III; her children, Cristy Lynn Palmer, John Robert Palmer (Mary) of Califon, NJ. and Nancy Leigh Anderson (Erik) of Minneapolis, MN; her grandchildren, Noelle, Benjamin, Jack and Simon; and her sister Joan Breece of Altharetta, GA..

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Church of God of Prophecy (1127 S Broad St, Kenbridge, VA 23944).
