With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Cary Overton of Victoria, Virginia, who passed away on February 12, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Louie Allen Overton; her parents, Gordon Cary and Fanny Cary; and her sisters, Cora Mae Roberts and Louise Cordle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teressa Overton (Charlie) of Victoria and Sharon Harding of Victoria; her grandchildren, Regina Daniel, Natasha Gill (Chris), Brandon Harding (Kim) and Derek Daniel; her great grandchildren, Malik, Greleigh, Angel, Maddox and Andrew; and her great great grandchildren, Nova Glasgow and William Carter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Donations to the Lunenburg Health Services Center (P.O. Box 121; Victoria, VA) or the Victoria Fire and Rescue Squad (P.O. Box 1419; Victoria, VA) are requested by the family.
