Basil Pavelchak Jr. Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Basil Pavelchak Jr. of Vienna, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Basil shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Basil farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Pavelchak and Gertrude Bundas Pavelchak; and his brother John Pavelchak. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura (Andrew Horn) and Lynn (Christopher Otto); and his grandchildren, Kayleigh, Nathan Horn, Jack and Grant Otto.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Basil's Orthodox Church (9 Lord Ave, Carbondale, PA 18407). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
