He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Whitlatch, and James Dorr Whitlatch, Sr.; his wife Marsha; and his brother Robert "Bob" Whitlatch. He is survived by: his daughter Kelli Beymer (Nicole) of Moyock; his grandson Gunner Beymer; his nephew Jay Whitlatch (Kristie) of Ashland, Kentucky; his niece Debbie Eddy (Joe) of Wheeling; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Smith and Jim Ross (Carolyn) of Parkersburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101).
