With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pamela Boyd Duke of Vienna, Virginia, who passed away on August 18, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her mother Louise Boyd; her brother Oscar Stotts Jonathan Boyd; and her nephew Antoine Holley. She is survived by : her father John C. Boyd; her husband Ralph Curtis Duke; her daughters, Charmaine Michelle Nokuri, Candace Marie Qankow (Fuad), Christy Melissa Lee (Connell) and Cherish Monique Duke; her grandchildren, Robert Kofi Tanya, Imani Ruth Nokuri, Bakhari Solomon Nokuri, Connell Andrew Lee Jr., Cienna Christina Lee and Canaan Connell Lee; her siblings, Ivan Boyd (Trisha) and Saundra Boyd; and her nieces and nephews, Lamont Holley (Alan), Jason Boyd, Latanya Ford (Eddie), Eric Boyd (Deborah) and Ebony Boyd.

“I’m so sorry to learn of Pamela’s passing. I grew up in Vienna and knew Pamela as a friend. I have many fond memories of our childhood that I will always cherish. Back in the late 60’s in our teens we would walk to downtown Vienna. Pam, our friend Ann Barnes and I didn’t mind walking to enjoy sopping together. Cherish the memories of your mother, grandmother and wife, she was a very special lady. With heartfelt sympathy, Linda Carrington Kiah”
