It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calvin Holdren (Vinton, Virginia), who passed away on August 27, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shirley and Ruby Fitzgerald Holdren; his brother Bill Holdren; his father-in-law Don Mullins; and his son Brian Wray.

He is survived by: his wife Renee Mullins Holdren; his children, Shelly Holdren, Joseph Holdren (Kea), Stacey Lane and Brandon Holdren (Patience); his sisters, Susan Holdren, Charlene Holdren and Maria Murray (John); and his mother-in-law Ruth Mullins. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Rick Via World Reach Partnership (Calvin started a ministry numerous years ago to send bibles to Uganda through Rick's ministry & this would honor his legacy of leading others to his Savior) or the Blue Ridge Women's Center.
