He was predeceased by: his parents, David Palmer and Eva Irene Lockhart Lilly. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Lilly; his children, Stacy Pimm, Melisa Chappell (Joe) and Chad Lilly; his grandchildren, Thomas Eanes (Alexis), Branden Purl, Jayson Purl, David LeClair, Cooper Purl, Carrington Lilly and Jaylen Chappell; his sister Judy Wickline; his niece Amanda Key (Joel); his great-nephew Thomas Key; his nephew Shannon Wickline (Angie); and his pets, Lilah Jo, Stitch Randolph and Oona Bell.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakey's Vinton Chapel (627 Hardy Rd, Vinton, VA 24179). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
