Erika Schafer Mullins Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 25, 2025, at the age of 85, Erika Schafer Mullins of Vinton, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Erika shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Erika farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johannes Schafer and Elisabeth Frieda Schafer (Westerwald); her husband Jack Ronald Mullins; and her children, Evelyn Kay Mullins and Ronald Dean Mullins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Grossheim (Walter) and Deborah Martin (Ronnie). She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be made to the Carilion Clinic Hospice, 1615 Franklin Road, SW, Roanoke, VA 24016 or your favorite hospice.
