We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2025, at the age of 81, Gloria Hiner Glass of Vinton, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gloria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gloria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roger James Glass; her parents, Sidney Hiner and Katharine Hiner; and her stepmother Frieda Hiner. She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Roger Glass (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Aaron, Emma, Addison, Sam and Callum; and her siblings, Margie Smith, Jimmy Hiner (Elaine), Billy Hiner and Judi Huffman.
