He is survived by: his son Matthew David Miles; his grandchildren, Dylan Miles and Chase Miles; his siblings, Wanda Miles Shaw (Ray) and John Martin "Marty" Miles (Charlotte); and his sister-in-law Linda Nicholson Miles. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
