It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Allen Minnix Sr. of Vinton, Virginia, who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Larry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Larry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilton Minnix and Sarah Elizabeth Minnix. He is survived by: his wife Judy P. Minnix; his sons, Larry Allen Minnix Jr. (Heather) and Kevin Lee Minnix (Jessica); his grandsons, Cooper Allen Minnix and Parker Elliott Minnix; and his foster brother Grady Gwynn. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
