He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Lewis" Spradlin and Leona "Mae" Spradlin; his siblings, Lottie Hartman, Gaylon Spradlin, Kathleen Cawley, Pearle Quarles, Barry Spradlin, Donald Spradlin, Kenneth Spradlin and Shelbourne Spradlin; and his son Kevin Winston Spradlin.
He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Carpenter (Brian); his grandchildren, Abbey Carpenter (Tyler) and Austin Carpenter (Abby); his great grandchild Weston Whitaker; his siblings, Warren Spradlin (Clair) and Glenn Spradlin (Doris); and his brother-in-law Norman Quarles.
