It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Gail Scott of Vinton, Virginia, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Linda Gail Scott to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edwin and Juanita Hefner Cruikshanks. She is survived by: her husband Sid Scott Ill; her children, Kelly L. Sweatt (William) and Sidney Scott IV (Laura); and her grandchildren, David, Samuel, Matthew, Grace and Andrew.
