He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Tyree and Pauline A. Hodges Hackett; his siblings, Richard H. Tyree, Emmett L. Tyree, Glenn E. Tyree, Dorothy Tyree and Ruby A. Tyree; and his son Michael Todd Tyree Sr. (Sue Ellen Tyree).
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Barnebi-Cooper (Steve), Sharon Baker (Jamie), Adriane Terry, Rebecca Ward-Webb (David) and Gretchen Zoch (Brandon); his grandchildren, Olivia Earls, Isaac Earls, Matthew Ward, Savannah Ward, Reagan Zoch, Justice Zoch, Meghan Bradfield and James C. Baker III (Troy); and his great grandchildren, Payson, Parker, Mila, Alex, Carter and Kayce.
